What is Labriola?
The Labriola Innovation Hub is a startup-accessible fabrication space at the heart of our campus’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. With six specialized shops—Wood, Metal, Electronics, Paint & Composites, a Tool Crib, and a Makerspace featuring 3D printing, 2D creative suites, and textiles—the InnoHub provides users with the tools and technical support needed to build, test, and refine physical prototypes. These spaces serve as a launchpad for turning ideas into reality, supported by experienced shop managers, staff, and a collaborative creative community.

Labriola and Beck Partnership
As part of Mines’ E&I Ecosystem, the Beck Venture Center partners with Labriola Innovation Hub to offer streamlined access through paid memberships. This collaboration empowers creators, startups, and innovators to tap into professional-grade tools, equipment, and creative environments—all while staying connected to a broader network of entrepreneurial support. By joining, members benefit from shared resources, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a community built to accelerate ideas from concept to creation.
E&I Membership Access
Access to the Labriola Innovation Hub is available through a paid membership, managed via an addendum to the Beck Venture Center membership. Membership fees help support equipment maintenance, safety training, and continued access to specialized fabrication spaces. Start-ups and external partners can gain entry to the InnoHub’s resources through this membership model.
