The Labriola Innovation Hub offers the InnoHub Monthly Mini-Grant as a rolling opportunity. The program awards individual students up to $50 worth of materials to make something awesome! Applicants submit their ideas and outline the materials they need. If the program awards them the mini-grant, they receive these materials. Recipients may also apply for project storage access in the building. After a month of work time, they collaborate with our communications team to write a blog post for our website. We encourage all submissions, but projects that use multi-disciplinary skills across a range of shops and spaces within the InnoHub will receive preference.

Who can apply?

Guidelines

• Funds are not awarded directly to grant recipients – you can request up to $50 of materials (no tools) through this grant, which the InnoHub will directly purchase (from approved vendors) and/or supply for you
• All Mines students (undergrad and grad) are eligible to apply
• Students can submit multiple ideas and apply each month
• Projects that use multi-disciplinary skills across a range of shops and spaces will receive preference

How to participate

• We will grant awards at the end of each month
• Approximately 1-2 students will receive awards each month
