Lots and Lots of Workshops!
Labriola is regularly offering various workshops for students to learn new skills. Whether making soap in Open Build, sewing a backpack in the Makerspace, or engraving a personal puzzle in the Wood Shop, there are oppotunities for anyone’s interests. The Monthly Mini Grant is Live!!
This opportunity allows students to receive support getting materials for cool project ideas they have! To apply, fill out the form (linked below) telling us your idea and what materials are needed for it. If you’re chosen, the Labriola Innovation Hub will help you get those materials valuing up to $50 and then will co-write a blog post with you about your process and project! More information is available on our Mini Grant page.
You can Now Purchase Materials!!!
Labriola has materials that students can purchase to use on any project. With materials ranging from aluminum square and round stock to plastic sheets, we have a wide range ready for use. Follow the link below to purchase materials online, then talk to a TA to get your materials!

Mines’ Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ecosystem, an interconnected system of state-of-the-art facilities and programming, establishes needed infrastructure to carry out a bold new vision for Mines students as creative, business-savvy thinkers prepared to enter a fast-paced global workforce.
The E&I Ecosystem includes curriculum and collaborative programming that gives students, faculty and alumni space and support to innovate without barriers while exploring commercialization of science and tech solutions.
Memberships will soon be available to Beck members to get access to Labriola.
